As a Pakistani who was born and raised in The State of Kuwait. I have always referred it as my home. Living there since I was born, molded my persona identical to the people there. The Gulf being a highly developed nation with no extreme responsibilities, made me extremely comfortable but due to the lack of Medical Universities, I had to come back to Pakistan.
Coming to Pakistan for the first time as a student was pretty different and harder to cope than what I had expected. The life, The weather, The people all different. I had initially completed my higher studies in Kuwait but I still had to give the entrance exams i.e. MDCAT, as I strived to be a Doctor. I worked hard and tried my best whilst trying to cope up with the very different life that I was experiencing in Pakistan. Alas, the day came when I had to give the exam that would decide my Fate.
By God’s Grace, I had passed my MDCAT exam and began applying for universities in Punjab. In the end, I was admitted into M.Islam Medical And Dental College, Gujranwala, I was delighted that I had finally stepped into a professional degree and now was studying as a First Year MBBS Student.
In M.IMDC
Along these Years, I have met a lot of people and have experienced a lot of things that I never thought that I would, This molded my Personality and me more confident than I ever was. Under the care of many teachers and well-wishers, I had passed the First Year Proff Exams.
Now I am a student of Second Year MBBS and I am continuing my journey in this field, not only delighted to be in the field that I once used to dream of but with a clear view of the world and mind, I am sure that now I can handle any problems thrown at me as I am a firm believer of the quote:
Success is not Final, Failure is not Fatal: It is the courage to Continue that Counts.
